Derek Smith
Pastor
Derek has served in multiple churches from Texas to Georgia which range in size from a couple hundred to over 1,500 and traditional to contemporary formats. He also serves as a Chaplain for the Alabama National Guard with over 10 years of military service. He has been married to Kelly for over 25 years and they have three children: Paige, Sydney and Jordan. Email: derek@orchardfellowship.com
Lance and Terra DeMerchant
Worship Leaders
Lance has served the local church in many capacities for nearly 20 years, ministering to both large groups in churches with thousands of attendees to small groups of people gathered under the cashew trees of Brazil.
Lance is married to Terra who began serving in the local church as an 8th grader and has been doing so ever since in either a volunteer or vocational position. Terra enjoys writing Bible studies that encourage people to live their lives empowered by God. In addition, she loves ministering to others and leading online Bible studies through her ministry www.wordblooms.com.
Lance and Terra have two beautiful children. Together they have traveled and led worship, written numerous worship songs, and invested in the lives of the people involved in the worship ministries they have led.
